What’s three words, six syllables and driving taste buds wild in the city that never sleeps?
Bacon Peanut Brittle.
Imagine savory peanuts adorned with crispy bacon bits and maple syrup, slowly roasted over a wealth of hickory smoked goodness. When Neuman’s Kitchen was approached by owner of Chelsea Market Baskets, David Porat, to recreate an old-school favorite, our Pastry Chef, Luis Saquipulla, set out to craft a crunch that could be heard around the world.
Conducting the perfect symphony of spicy, smoky and sweet wasn’t an easy task – but it’s safe to say we mastered Neuman’s Kitchen’s first bite of the e-commerce industry. Thanks to this specialty item, Neuman’s is officially on the retail map and we couldn’t be happier.
The tricks to this trendy trade remain a house secret, but luckily, this bacon extravaganza is readily available to every New Yorker inside the infamous Chelsea Market. From our Lower East Side kitchen to yours, we invite you to close your eyes and let this urban snack transport you to the countryside.
What are you waiting for? Take a stroll to Chelsea Market Baskets, located at 75 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY, and let your imagination run ramped.
